Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A NW to SE trough will meander across the far SW
Gulf through Fri night. Frequent gusts to gale force will be
possible in the E central Gulf through early morning, otherwise,
fresh to strong easterly winds will dominate the basin through
Thu. The pressure gradient will relax as a broad inverted trough
moves across the eastern Gulf of Mexico for the end of the week.
This trough will move W reaching the central gulf waters by
early Sat. A surface low, possibly a tropical cyclone, will move
into the southern Gulf by early Sat and continue N through Sun.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pres N of the area will continue to
support fresh to near gale force NE to E flow with frequent gusts
to gale force W of 70W through the early morning. Winds will
diminish across the basin by the end of the week as the pressure 
gradient significantly relaxes, with much more tranquil marine 
conditions this weekend.
