Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Fresh to strong easterly winds will dominate the 
basin through Thu, then the pressure gradient will relax as a 
broad inverted trough develops across the eastern Gulf of Mexico. 
This trough will move W reaching the central gulf waters by early 
Sat. A surface low, possibly a tropical cyclone will move N along 
the trough on Sat and Sun.

swell. Scattered showers. 
.WED...NE to E winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE to E

support fresh to near gale force NE to E flow across the waters 
N of 26N through the middle of the week with frequent gusts to 
gale force tonight across the waters N of 27N between 70W and
77W. A broad inverted trough over the Central Bahamas will move
slowly NW through Wed night accompanied by strong thunderstorms.
