Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Strong E winds currently across the NE Gulf waters 
will spread southwestward and extend across the waters N of 22N 
and E of 97W by late Wed as high pressure strengthens. The pressure
gradient will begin to relax on Thu as a broad inverted trough 
develops across the eastern Gulf of Mexico, and moves W on Fri reaching
the central waters on Sat night.

.SYNOPSIS...Strong high pressure will bridge through a weakening
front extending E to W along 26N. Strong to near gale force NE 
winds will continue across the waters N of 25N through mid week 
before the pressure gradient begins to relax. A surface trough 
currently across the SE Bahamas will move NW through the Central 
Bahamas and Old Bahama Channel on Tue and Wed, reach the Straits 
of Florida on Thu, then drift W between 79W and 80W during the 
upcoming weekend.
