Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Persistent broad troughing across the SW Gulf will
continue through early Wed. A surface trough from 28N85W to
23N88W will drift W through tonight. Strong high pressure will
build S across the waters NE of the trough, supporting strong E
winds over the northern waters through Mon, with these
conditions spreading further S and W through the week. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers

.SYNOPSIS...A 1011 mb surface low at 29N72W will move ENE today
and weaken while dragging a trailing cold front S to along 27N 
through the early part of the week. Gale force winds will
accompany the low through early afternoon before diminishing,
while frequent gale force gusts are expected N of 29N and W of 
79W through this afternoon as high pres strengthens N of the 
front. Strong NE winds and building seas behind the slowly
sinking front will reach along 25N on Mon night, and persist 
through mid-week.

20 to 30 kt with frequent gusts 35 to 40 kt N of 27N. S of 27N,
