Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A thermal trough will develop each evening over the
NW Yucatan Peninsula, move into the SW Gulf overnight where it
will dissipate each morning. Weak high pressure will remain over
the area through Wednesday night. A cold front will move into
the northern and western Gulf waters on Friday, and stall from
northern Florida to S Texas on Saturday.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Maria has moved north of the forecast
area. Winds and seas will decrease over the next few days. A
trough  will extend SW from the N-central waters to the Central
Bahamas  in the wake of Maria through Wednesday night, and
become diffuse  on Thursday. High pressure will build westward
across the  eastern portion of the area. A weak cold front is
expected to  approach the SE United States on Friday. 

.TONIGHT...N to NE winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and NW to N
10 to 15 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 7 to 10 ft N of
27N. 
.TUE...SW to W winds less than 5 kt S of 27N, and NW 10 to 15 kt
N of 27N. Seas 3 ft S of 27N, and 6 to 9 ft N of 27N. 
.TUE NIGHT...S of 27N, W to NW winds less than 5 kt, shifting to
N to NE late, then, shifting to E to SE late, Seas 3 ft,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. N of 27N, NW winds 10 to 15 kt, 
shifting to SW 5 to 10 kt late, Seas 5 to 7 ft. 
.WED...S of 27N, S winds less than 5 kt, shifting to W to NW. N
