Estimated minimum central pressure is 963 mb. Maria is forecast to maintain intensity as it reaches near 31.8N 73.0W by this evening, and continue to lift to N of the area tonight. Maria is forecast to reach near 32.9N 73.1W by early Tuesday morning as a minimal hurricane with maximum sustained winds of 65 kt with gusts to 80 kt. A trough will extend SW from the N-central waters to the Central Bahamas in the wake of Maria through Wednesday night, and become diffuse on Thursday as high pressure builds westward across the eastern portion of the area.
