Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A thermal trough will develop each evening over the
NW Yucatan Peninsula, move WNW across the SW Gulf overnight and
dissipate over the SW Gulf waters by late each morning. High
pressure will remain over the northern waters through Thursday. 

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Maria centered at 26.3N 72.5W 950 mb at
5 PM EDT moving NNW or 345 degrees at 8 kt. Maximum sustained
winds are 100 kt with gusts to 120 kt. Maria is forecast to
reach near 27.6N 72.8W at 2 AM EDT Sun, near 29.1N 73.1W at 2 PM
EDT Sun, weaken to 95 kt gusts 115 kt near 30.1N 73.3W at 2 AM
EDT Mon, weaken to 90 kt gusts to 110 kt near 31.1N 73.3W at
2 PM EDT Mon, and continue to weaken while moving further from
the area near  32.9N 73.3W at 2 PM EDT Tue. A trough will extend
SW from the  N-central waters to the Central Bahamas in the wake
of Maria. 

.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 8 to 13 ft N of 27N.
