Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A thermal trough will develop each evening over the
NW Yucatan Peninsula, move WNW across the SW Gulf overnight and
dissipate over the SW Gulf waters by late each morning. Weak
high High pressure will remain over the northern waters through
Wednesday. 

.TODAY...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Maria centered at 24.8N 72.0W 952 mb at
5 AM EDT moving NNW or 345 degrees at 8 kt. Maximum sustained
winds  are 105 kt with gusts to 130 kt. Maria is forecast to
reach near  26.0N 72.4W early this afternoon, with maximum
sustained winds  110 kt with gusts to 135 kt, then maintain
intensity as it  reaches near 27.7N 72.7W late tonight. Maria
will begin to weaken as it reaches near 29.2N 72.9W early Sunday
afternoon with  maximum sustained winds 105 kt with gusts to
130 kt. Maria will  continue to weaken as it reaches near 30.3N
73.0W late Sunday  night with maximum sustained winds 100 kt
with gusts to 120 kt, then lift N of area on Monday reaching to 
near 32.0N 73.0W with maximum sustained winds 85 kt with gusts to 
105 kt. A trough will extend SW from the N-central waters to 
vicinity of the Central Bahamas in the wake of Maria.

.TODAY...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and NE 15 to 20 kt N
of 27N. Seas 7 to 10 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and N to NE 15 to 20 kt
N of 27N. Seas 8 to 11 ft in NE to E swell. Scattered showers and
