slight pressure gradient and weak winds across the area through
the next several days.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Jose is centered N of the area near 33.0N
71.4W 974 mb at 5 AM EDT moving N at 8 kt. Maximum sustained 
winds 80 kt gusts 100 kt. Jose is forecast to continue to move N
of the area through this afternoon. Hurricane Maria is centered 
near 14.6N 59.5W 977 mb at 5 AM EDT moving WNW at 11 kt. Maximum 
sustained winds 80 kt gusts 100 kt. Maria is forecast to gradually
strengthen while moving across the NE Caribbean and Puerto Rico 
through Wed before moving to the N of Hispaniola near 19.0N 67.7W 
by Wed night. Maria will move near Turks and Caicos by late Thu 
before moving farther N and staying E of the central and northern 
Bahamas through late Fri.
