.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough over the western Gulf will
drift W through Sun with scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Otherwise, weak high pressure over the SE U.S will maintain a
slight pressure gradient and weak winds across the area through
the next several days.

moving N of the area near 31.4N 71.5W Sun evening. Tropical 
Storm Maria is centered near 12.5N 53.7W 1002 mb at 11 PM EDT 
moving W at 14 kt. Maximum sustained winds 45 kt gusts 55 kt. 
Maria is forecast to gradually strengthen while moving to 13.1N 
55.7W Sun morning, becoming a hurricane near 13.9N 57.6W Sun
