.SYNOPSIS...A weak surface trough over the N central and central
Gulf will drift W through Sun with scattered showers and
thunderstorms. Otherwise, weak high pressure over the SE U.S
will maintain a slight pressure gradient and weak winds across
the area through the next several days.

5 PM EDT moving N at 5 kt. Maximum sustained winds 70 kt gusts 85
kt. Jose is forecast to move to 29.6N 71.9W late tonight, near
30.9N 71.8W Sun afternoon, then moving N of the area near 32.3N
71.6W late Sun night. Tropical Storm Maria is centered near 12.3N
52.6W 1002 mb at 5 PM EDT moving W at 17 kt. Maximum sustained
winds 45 kt gusts 55 kt. Maria is forecast to gradually strengthen
while moving to 13.0N 54.5W late tonight, becoming a hurricane
near 13.9N 56.6W Sun afternoon, near 14.6N 58.3W late Sun night,
15.2N 59.8W Mon afternoon, near 16.5N 62.7W Tue afternoon, near
17.9N 65.5W Wed afternoon, and near 19.5N 68.6W Thu afternoon.
