.SYNOPSIS...A weak pressure pattern will prevail through the
next several days. The only exception will be associated with a
thermal trough moving off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula and
over the eastern Bay of Campeche each night beginning on Friday.

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Jose centered near 25.3N 65.6W 988 MB at 5 
PM EDT moving S at 3 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt with gusts 
to 80 kt. Jose will change little in strength while moving to near
25.1N 65.9W late tonight, then maintain intensity as it reaches 
near 25.4N 66.9W Thu afternoon, near 26.2N 68.3W late Thursday 
night, near 27.3N 69.9W Fri afternoon while weakening to a 
tropical storm, then near 30.3N 70.5W Sat afternoon. Jose is then 
forecast to move N of the area near 33.2N 70.0W Sun afternoon then
continuing to 36.0N 69.0W Mon afternoon. A trough will extend to 
the SE Bahamas and SE Cuba in the wake of Jose. A ridge will build
SW from the N central Atlantic to the eastern portion of the 
basin Friday through early next week.
