Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Irma near 30.3N 83.1W, 975 mb moving
NNW at 15 kt at 11 AM EDT, and continuing inland over the
Florida peninsula. Maximum sustained winds 55 kt gusts 65 kt.
Irma will continue moving NNW and into Georgia early tonight,
and weaken to a depression as it move farther N Tue, eventually
dissipating well N of the region by late Wed. A weak pressure
pattern will set up across the Gulf in the wake of Irma through
the remainder of the week.

.THIS AFTERNOON...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS. W to NW winds 40 to
45 kt. Seas 8 to 15 ft. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...TROPICAL STORM CONDITIONS POSSIBLE. W to NW winds
25 to 30 kt, diminishing to 15 to 20 kt after midnight. Seas 5 to
12 ft in NW to N swell. Slight chance of showers. 
.TUE...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 4 to 7 ft. 
.TUE NIGHT...SW winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. 
.WED...S to SW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Irma will continue moving NNW and into Georgia early tonight and

dissipating well N of the region by late Wed. Farther E, 
Hurricane Jose is near 25.5N 69.1W, 968 mb moving N at 8 kt. 
Maximum sustained winds 90 kt gusts to 110 kt. Jose is expected
to move to 26.6N 69.3W this evening, to 27.1N 68.2W Tue morning,
to 26.6N 67.0W Tue evening, to 25.7N 66.2W Wed morning, to 24.1N
67.0W Thu morning, before moving slowly NW thereafter as its
completes this clockwise loop. Swell from Jose will dominate 
area waters Tue through Fri.
