Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Katia near 21.7N 95.1W 992 mb at 5 PM EDT
moving SE at 3 kt. Maximum sustained winds 65 kt gusts 80 kt.
Katia is forecast to move to near 21.5N 94.7W late tonight, then
to near 21.3N 94.7W Thu afternoon, then to near 21.1N 95.0W late
Thu night, then near 20.9N 95.9W Fri afternoon, then will make
landfall, weakening to a post-tropical cyclone near 19.5N 98.0W
Sat afternoon, dissipating by Sun afternoon. Major Hurricane
Irma is forecast to move between Cuba and the Bahamas Sat, then
turn northward across the Florida peninsula, possibly bringing
tropical storm force winds to eastern portions of the Straits of
Florida and Florida Bay in the far SE Gulf late Sat into Sun.
