Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A low level NNW to SSE orientated trough will extend
across the W-Central and SW Gulf waters this week with a surface
low developing along the trough, possibly developing into a
tropical cyclone. An E to W ridge will develop across the
northern Gulf early this week, and then strengthen during the
middle of the week behind a cold front.

.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will build W and meander from Bermuda to
Port Canaveral on Tue and Wed. Hurricane Irma at 16.7N 55.6W
943 mb at 11 PM moving W at 11 kt with maximum sustained winds
120 kt gusts to 145 kt. Irma will reach near 16.9N 57.4W Tue
morning, near 17.5N 60.0W Tue evening, near 18.3N 62.7W Wed
morning, near 19.3N 65.5W Wed evening, near 21.2N 71.0W Thu
evening, near 22.5N 76.0W Fri evening, and near 24.0N 80.0W Sat
evening.
