Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak high pressure will prevail across the NE Gulf
through the Wed. A broad trough extending from the Bay ob
Campeche NW to offshore of Tampico Mexico will meander through
late Wed. A cold front will sink slowly into the NW Gulf late
Wed and reach from the Florida Big Bend to the SW Gulf by late
Thu, where it will merge with the lingering trough through Fri. 

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TUE...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A weakening frontal trough extending across the 
waters off of NE Florida will move NE through Tue and allow the
central Atlc ridge to build SW to NE Florida through Thu. 
Building NE to E swells will propagate W across the tropical 
waters S of 22N through tonight well ahead of Hurricane Irma. 
Tropical storm force and stronger winds will shift W and NW 
across the tropical waters S of 21N Tue and Tue night while 
reaching the offshore waters of the N Leewards Tue afternoon. 
Major Hurricane Irma is forecast to reach near 17.0N 58.6W Tue 
afternoon, near 17.8N 61.2W Tues night, near 19.6N 66.8W Wed 
night, near 21.0N 72.0W Thu night, then near 22.0N 76.5W Fri 
night.
