Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Harvey is just inland west of
Cameron, Louisiana near 29.8N 93.4W at 30/0900Z moving NNE or
030 degrees at 6 kt. Estimated minimum central pressure is
999 mb. Maximum sustained winds are 40 kt with gusts to 50 kt.
Harvey is forecast to move farther inland while weakening to a
Tropical Depression by tonight. High pressure will slowly build
back across the Gulf region through the remainder of the week.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough extends over the northwest waters.
A ridge with axis along 27/28N dominates the remainder of the 
forecast region. A weak cold front will move across the N
waters, mainly N of 28N-29N today into Thursday while weakening.
High pressure in the wake of the front will dominate the area
the remainder of the week. 

.TODAY...S of 27N, E winds 5 to 10 kt. N of 27N, SW winds less
than 5 kt,  shifting to NE in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less S
of 27N, and 3 ft N of 27N. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E 5 to 10 kt N of
