Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Hurricane Harvey is inland near 28.5N 97.2W at
26/0900 UTC, moving NW, or 325 degrees at 5 kt. Estimated
minimum central pressure is 963 mb. Maximum sustained winds are
85 kt gusting to 105 kt. Harvey is expected to slow down through
the day and meander over southeastern Texas through the middle
of next week. Additional weakening is forecast, and Harvey is
likely to become a tropical storm later today. 

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to
3 ft late. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.

ahead of weak low pressure emerging off the Florida east coast 
this weekend. The low pressure may deepen as it moves N of the 
area early next week.
