Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak Atlc ridge extending westward along 27N and
into the central Gulf will persist through Fri. Moderate to
locally fresh Southerly flow across the W half of basin will
continue through Wed night, then begin to diminish late on Thu
through Sat as the ridge slowly lifts northward.  

.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...The W Atlc ridge has become more established along 
27N and will shift N to near 28N Thursday through Fri, to 29N on
Sat and to along 31N on Sun. The N portion of a strong tropical 
wave across the NE Caribbean and SE waters will move W across
the remainder of the far southern waters through Fri. Fresh to 
locally strong easterly winds and very active weather will 
accompany the wave. A tropical low pressure system is expected
to move across the same waters beginning late on Sat, and reach
the waters near the SE Bahamas on Sun.

of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. Slight chance of thunderstorms.
