Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak Atlantic ridge will extend westward across
the central Gulf through Fri. Southerly flow will increase today
and continue through Wednesday night, then begin to diminish
late on Thursday and through Saturday as the ridge lifts
northward.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will build westward along 27N through 
Wednesday evening, then shift N to near 28N Thursday through 
Friday and change little through Saturday. A tropical wave will 
pass across the far SE portion tonight into Wednesday. A stronger 
tropical wave will pass across the same waters Friday night into 
Saturday. Associated low pressure may be along the wave.

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SW 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N. Isolated
showers and thunderstorms.
