Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will extend westward from the Atlantic
to across the Gulf through next week. Low pressure expected to
strengthen west of the area will combine with the ridge and lead
to an increase of southerly winds Tuesday through Thursday over
the far western Gulf.  

.TODAY...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.  Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.  Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms.

about 225 nm NE of the southeastern Bahamas will move NNW and
passing to the E and NE of the Bahamas through Monday. High
pressure will build westward along 27N Monday through Thursday.
