Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A weak ridge will extend from the western Atlantic
to the central Gulf through early next week.  

.TODAY...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered 
showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...N to NE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to E late. Seas
2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.SUN...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.  Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms.
.SUN NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Isolated 
showers and thunderstorms.
.MON...SE to S winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.MON NIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...Broad low pressure centered about 240 nm NE of the
eastern tip of the Dominican Republic will track in a NW
direction to the E of the Bahamas through early Sunday, with
potential  for it to intensify to a tropical cyclone. This
system is then  forecast to track NNE through early next week as
it recurves to  the E of the Bahamas. In its wake, high pressure
ridging will  build E to W near 27N through Wednesday. The
northern portion of a tropical wave will move across the far SE
waters Tuesday through  Wednesday bringing increasing winds and
seas to those waters. 

.TODAY...E winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to 15 kt N
of 27N. Seas 3 ft. Scattered showers and thunderstorms W and NW
parts to the N of 27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms
elsewhere.
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and S winds 10 to 15
kt N of 27N. Seas 2 to 3 ft S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms W and NW parts to the N of 
27N. Isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere.
.SUN...SE winds 5 to 10 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 5 to 10 kt N of
