Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...Tropical Storm Franklin inland near 19.6N 89.6W at 11 AM will move WNW across the Yucatan Peninsula today with the center emerging into the eastern Bay of Campeche along 20N this afternoon. Franklin will strengthen to a strong tropical storm of 60 kt gusts to 75 kt near 20.4N 95.4W at 8 PM on Wed, and move W and inland Mexico near 21N97W before sunrise on Thu. Winds and seas will decrease through Thu night. A surface ridge will meander W from the Florida Big Bend across the Northern Coastal Waters through Sat. A coastal trough will extend S from the Texas Coastal Bend to near Veracruz Mexico through early Wed morning.
