Southeast Gulf of Mexico .SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the NW gulf will gradually weaken through Saturday night and lift northward and dissipate on Sunday as Atlantic ridge continues to extend westward across the central Gulf. The ridge will lift north to the northern Gulf on Sunday, and remain there through the middle of next week. A trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each evening, move westward during the overnight hours, then dissipate over the SW Gulf each morning.
