Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough over the NW gulf will gradually
weaken and move inland today as a ridge builds from Tampa Bay to
NE Texas where it will meander through Sun. A trough will
develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each evening, move westward
during the overnight hours, then dissipate over the SW Gulf each
morning. A tropical wave will move W across the Yucatan
Peninsula early next week.

.SYNOPSIS...A surface high will develop today near 28N71W along 
an E to W ridge. The high will drift N through Tue as the ridge 
extends W to NE Florida. A tropical wave S of 22N along 70W will
 continue W passing through the Old Bahama Channel through Sat 
accompanied by fresh to strong E trades. Strong E trades will 
develop along the N coast of Hispaniola during the late
afternoons into early evenings. Low pressure associated with a
tropical wave will approach 55W late Tue night. Environmental
conditions will  be favorable for tropical cyclone formation.
