through Saturday. A ridge will persist across the central Gulf
through the period.

.SYNOPSIS...The pressure gradient between a high pressure ridge 
building across the region and a tropical wave moving across the
Caribbean will allow for strong winds to pulse off Hispaniola
and approaches to the Windward Passage through Fri night. The
ridge  will dominate the remainder of the area through the
weekend.
