will persist across the central Gulf the next several days.

.SYNOPSIS...A tight pressure gradient between high pres ridge 
building across the region and a tropical wave moving across the
 Caribbean will allow strong winds to pulse off Hispaniola and 
approaches to the Windward Passage through Fri night. The ridge 
will dominate the remainder of the area through the weekend.
