Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A trough extends from 28N85W to 1011 mb low pressure
near 27N87W to 28N93W. The low pressure will gradually dissipate
into Wed as the trough drifts into the northern Gulf through
Thu. High pressure will build across the region later in the
week. 

.OVERNIGHT...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers. 
.WED...S winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.THU...SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building to 3 ft
early in the afternoon, then, subsiding to 2 ft or less late in
the afternoon.

.SYNOPSIS...Post-Tropical Cyclone Emily is centered near 31.0N 
78.0W at 11 pm EDT, moving NNE at 8 kt. Max winds are 30 kt with 
gusts to 40 kt. It is expected to continue to move N of the area 
overnight. Building high pressure will in the wake of Emily will 
allow strong winds to pulse off Hispaniola and approaches to the 
Windward Passage through Fri.

20 kt N of 27N. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered showers.
