Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Weak ridging over the northern Gulf will shift S
tonight ahead of a cold front moving into the region. The front
stall along roughly 27N Sun, before transitioning to a trough
and drifting north through mid week. The ridge will build mid to
late week from S Florida through the Texas coast. 

.TODAY...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft in the late morning and afternoon. Scattered showers. 
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers. 
.MON...SW to W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 to 4 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge extending from 27N65W to the Florida Straits
will shift S to a position from 27N65W to NW Cuba through Mon
ahead of a cold front moving into and stalling over the waters 
off NE Florida through Sun. The ridge will shift N to 29N by
late Thu as the front weakens and shifts N of the area.

showers and isolated thunderstorms.
