Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the
end of the week and into the weekend as a series of troughs
drifts E across the NE Gulf. A trough will develop over the
Yucatan Peninsula during the evening hours before pushing
offshore into the SW Gulf each night, then move W across the SW
Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each
morning. A weak cold front may approach the NE Gulf by the end
of the weekend stalling into early next week.  

.TODAY...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
.TONIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E winds 5 to 10 kt,  shifting to N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...N winds less than 5 kt, shifting to NE to E late,
then, shifting to SE to S late. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the basin through the next
several days. The ridge will rebuild tonight into Fri while a 
trough deepens over the Carolinas, supporting fresh SW flow off
NE Florida for the end of the week into the weekend. Winds will 
pulse to fresh from N of Hispaniola to the approach to the 
Windward Passage. 

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt
