Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through the
end of the week and into the weekend as a series of troughs
drifts E across the NE Gulf. A trough will develop over the
Yucatan Peninsula during the evening hours before pushing
offshore into the SW Gulf each night, then move W across the SW
Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each
morning. A weak cold front may approach the NE Gulf by the end
of the weekend.

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the basin through the next
several days. The ridge will rebuild Thu night into Fri while a 
trough deepens over the Carolinas, supporting fresh SW flow off
NE Florida for the end of the week into the weekend. Winds will 
pulse to fresh and occasionally strong from N of Hispaniola to
the approach to the Windward Passage.

.THU...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE 5 to 10 kt N of
