Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Ridging will extend from the eastern Gulf to the NW
Gulf through tonight. High pres will build over the N central
Gulf through the end of the week as a series of troughs drifts E
across the NE Gulf. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED...NE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.WED NIGHT...NE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.THU NIGHT...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE in the
afternoon. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.FRI NIGHT...NW to N winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to S after

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the basin through the next
several days, weakening late Wed as a trough moves in from E of
65W. The ridge will rebuild Thu night into Fri while troughing
deepens over the Carolinas, increasing SW flow to fresh over NW
portions for the end of the week into the weekend. 

.THIS AFTERNOON...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and S 5 to
10 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
15 kt N of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
