A series of weak troughs will drift E across the NE gulf waters through the end of the week and into the weekend, all to the N of the ridge. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon into the the evening hours, then move W across the SW Gulf during the overnight hours, and dissipate by late each morning. .TODAY...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt.
