Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface high will meander over the central gulf
waters with a ridge extending to the E and W between 26N and
27N. A series of weak troughs will drift E across the NE gulf
waters through the end of the week and into the weekend, all to
the N of the ridge. A thermal trough will develop over the
Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon into the the evening hours,
then move W across the SW Gulf during the overnight hours, and
dissipate by late each morning.

.FRI...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt, shifting to N to NE in the

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the basin through the next
several days, weakening late Wed as a trough moves in from E of
65W. The ridge will rebuild Thu night into Fri while troughing
deepens over the Carolinas, increasing SW flow to fresh over NW
portions for the end of the week into the weekend. Winds will
pulse to fresh and occasionally strong from N of Hispaniola to the
approach to the Windward Passage.

of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and SE to S 10 to
