Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough located over the central Gulf will
dissipate today as a ridge builds across the region. A thermal
trough will develop over the Yucatan Peninsula each afternoon,
move W-NW during the overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW
Gulf by late morning each day.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SUN NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...The axis of a tropical wave is near 75W, S of 23N. 
The wave will continue west through the Old Bahama Channel this 
upcoming weekend. A ridge, with axis along 31N/32W will dominate 
the remainder of the area. The Atlantic high pressure is forecast 
to strengthen early next week. 

.TODAY...E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. 
.SUN...SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 ft
N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
