Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A surface trough located over the eastern Gulf will
move W, reaching the W Gulf waters on Sat, and moving inland
Texas on Sun. A thermal trough will develop over the Yucatan
Peninsula each afternoon. The trough will move NW during the
overnight hours, and dissipate over the SW Gulf by late morning
each day. A surface high will develop over the E-central Gulf
Sun night into Mon.  

.TODAY...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft late, then, subsiding to 2 ft or less late. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. Scattered
showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.SAT NIGHT...E to SE winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.SUN...E winds less than 5 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...A tropical wave axis near 71W S of 23N will continue 
west through the Old Bahama Channel through the upcoming weekend. 
A ridge over the northern waters near 31N will shift southward and
build over the area later this weekend into early next week.

.TODAY...E winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and
3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. 
.TONIGHT...E winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and E to SE 10 to 15 kt
