Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Surface ridging across the basin will maintain
mainly gentle to light variable winds and seas of 4 ft or less
the entire period, except for west of 93W where moderate E to SE
winds will establish Tuesday through Thursday. A surface trough
will develop each day over the Yucatan and then will move across
the SW Gulf each night, where it will dissipate each morning.
The trough will support moderate NE to E winds in the Bay of
Campeche.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure ridge prevailing over the northern 
waters will lift northward as a surface trough spawned by a high
amplitude tropical wave in the Caribbean moves across the
forecast waters through midweek.
