Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge across the northern Gulf will maintain
gentle to moderate E to SE winds and seas 4 ft or less through
Sunday, with little change anticipated early next week. A
thermal trough will move across the SW Gulf each night through
Saturday night, and will be accompanied by a surge of fresh
winds and building seas to 5 to 6 ft.

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Four was located near 15.0N
48.8W at 0600 UTC this morning. The Depression or its remnants
will  pass to the NE of the Leeward Islands by Sunday evening.
Periods  of fresh to strong winds can be expected each evening
along the  northern coast of Hispaniola, including approaches to
the Windward Passage through Saturday night. A ridge will
prevail over the  northern waters through Monday, lifting N
Tuesday as the remnants  of Tropical Depression Four approach.

of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less.
