Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge will dominate the Gulf waters through early
next week producing mainly moderate to fresh southerly winds
across the western Gulf, and light to gentle E to SE winds
across the eastern Gulf. A thermal trough will develop during
the evening hours over the Yucatan Peninsula before pushing
offshore into the SW Gulf each night. A surge of fresh to
locally strong winds will be associated with this trough.

.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less, building
to 3 ft late. 
.SAT...E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 3 ft in the morning,
subsiding to 2 ft or less.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered over the Azores extends  a
ridge SW across the area. This system will remain in place 
during the upcoming weekend producing mainly gentle to moderate
winds N of 25N, and moderate to fresh winds S of 25N, with the
exception of fresh to locally strong winds just north of
Hispaniola, including the approach to the Windward Passage.

of 27N. Seas 2 ft or less. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt S of 27N, and SE 10 to 15 kt
