Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Tropical Depression Cindy is well inland over
northwestern Louisiana moving NNE 9 kt. The system is forecast
to weaken to a remnant low on Fri and track over the lower
Mississippi river valley. Winds and seas will slowly subside
over the north-central Gulf through early Friday. High pressure
will build across the northern Gulf in the wake of Cindy through
Tue night.

.SYNOPSIS...High pressure will meander along 29N/30N into the 
weekend as a weak cold front approaches the SE United States.
The high will gradually be absorbed into a broad central Atlc
high Sun, with a ridge axis extending across the northern waters
thereafter through Tue. A weak front moves off the SE United
States late Tue and stalls over the far NW portion of the area
Tue night.
