Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...Potential Tropical Cyclone Three centered near 24.8N
90.1W at 5 AM EDT moving NW or 315 deg at 7 kt, with maximum
sustained winds 35 kt gusts 45 kt. Highest winds are NE of the
center. Potential Tropical Cyclone Three is forecast to reach
near 25.7N 91.0w this afternoon, then strengthen slightly as it
reaches near 26.6N 92.1W late tonight, to near 27.5N 93.0W early
Wednesday afternoon, to near 28.9N 93.5W late Wednesday night
and weaken as it moves inland to near 32.5N 93.5W late Thursday
night. Large seas expected well east of the cyclone center
through Wednesday. High pressure will extend from the Atlantic
westward across the northern Gulf Thursday night through
Saturday night.
