Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A ridge in the northern Gulf will gradually weaken
through Monday. Winds and seas will increase in the southern
Gulf beginning tonight and through and Tuesday in response from
a broad low pressure area that is expected to slowly move from
the Yucatan Peninsula into the southern or central Gulf and
possibly intensify into a tropical or sub-tropical cyclone.
Widespread showers and thunderstorms with strong to near gale
force winds will accompany the low as it moves into the Gulf.
The low is expected to track in a general northwestward motion
during the upcoming week.  

.Today...E to SE winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Scattered
showers and isolated TSTMs. 
.TONIGHT...E to SE winds 20 to 25 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft,building to
6 to 8 ft in the late evening and overnight. Numerous showers
and scattered TSTMs.
.MON...SE winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 7 to 10 ft. Numerous showers
and Scattered TSTMs.
.MON NIGHT...SE winds 20 to 30 kt. Seas 8 to 11 ft. Numerous
