Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

A weak stationary front extends from near Crystal River,
Florida, to near Galveston, Texas. This front will begin to move
SE as a cold front later today, and reach from just north of 
Tampa Bay, Florida to the central Bay of Campeche by the end of 
the weekend. Behind the front, gales will develop offshore 
Tampico, Mexico tonight.

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

An ashfall advisory is in effect for La Soufriere Volcano on the
island of St. Vincent near 13.3N 61.2W. Mariners transiting the
nearby waters should exercise caution, and are encouraged to
report volcanic ash to the National Hurricane Center by calling
305-229-4424. Fresh to strong SE winds are expected in the NW
Caribbean this weekend, and then again starting Tue. Fresh to
strong trade winds will prevail across the south central
Caribbean Sun through early next week.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A slow moving cold front extends from just SE Bermuda to
1010 mb  low pressure near Daytona Beach, Florida. The front
move E but remain N of 29N this weekend. Another cold front will
move off the SE U.S. coast Sun night. Elsewhere, weak high 
pressure will dominate.
