Marine Weather Discussion for the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea,
and Tropical North Atlantic from 07N to 19N between 55W and 64W
and the Southwest North Atlantic including the Bahamas

...GULF OF MEXICO...

High pressure will gradually shift east as a cold front slowly
moves through the Lower Mississippi Valley, before stalling over
the northern Gulf this weekend. Fresh to strong winds will pulse
W-NW of the Yucatan Peninsula once again tonight. Mainly
moderate to locally fresh return flow will prevail through the
week, increasing to fresh to locally strong Fri night into Sat
ahead of the front, before diminishing thereafter. 

...CARIBBEAN SEA AND TROPICAL N ATLANTIC FROM 07N TO 19N BETWEEN
55W AND 64W...

High pressure north of the basin will continue to support fresh
to strong winds and moderate seas in the lee of Cuba, the
Windward Passage, and off Colombia tonight. As high pressure
shifts east, winds and seas will begin to diminish across the
basin. This pattern will support fresh to strong E to SE winds
and building seas north of Honduras by the end of the week into
the weekend.  

...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS...

A surface trough will drift southeast across the Tropical N 
Atlantic to just northwest of Puerto Rico. Winds and seas south 
of 22N and west of the boundary will diminish and subside 
tonight. A low pressure system will bring strong winds and 
building seas to the area east of 70W and north of 27N tonight 
through Wed. Winds and seas may increase east of Florida this 
weekend ahead of a cold front moving into the southeast U.S.
