Fresh to strong tradewinds will prevail in the southern Caribbean today before strengthening basin wide. Winds will pulse to gale force off the coast of Colombia Mon night and Tue night. A cold front that stretches from central Cuba to Belize this afternoon will move SE into Tue, then stall from Dominican Republic to Honduras. The stalled front over Hispaniola will result in heavy rain and potential flooding. Strong NE winds will occur to the W of the front. ...SW N ATLANTIC INCLUDING THE BAHAMAS... A 1013 mb low pressure is centered near 28N74W. A cold front extends from the low across the central Bahamas and into central Cuba. To the NE of this low, a stationary front stretches to 30N65W.
