DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Hurricane Fabio was
located near latitude 18.4 North, longitude 122.7 West.  Fabio
is moving toward the west-northwest near 14 mph (22 km/h). A
west-northwestward to northwestward motion at a similar forward
speed is expected to continue for the next several days.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 80 mph (130 km/h)
with higher gusts.  Rapid weakening is forecast, and Fabio is
expected to become a tropical storm on Thursday.  Continued
weakening is expected thereafter, and Fabio will likely degenerate
into a remnant low on Friday.

Hurricane-force winds extend outward up to 35 miles (55 km) from the
center and tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 175 miles
(280 km).

The estimated minimum central pressure is 981 mb (28.97 inches).
