DISCUSSION AND OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Emilia
was located near latitude 18.9 North, longitude 122.1 West.  The
depression is moving toward the west-northwest near 12 mph (19
km/h), and this motion is expected to continue through Monday.
Emilia's remnant low is forecast to turn toward the west on
Tuesday.

Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 30 mph (45 km/h) with
higher gusts.  Emilia is forecast to degenerate to a remnant low
later today, and the remnant low is expected to dissipate by
Wednesday.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
