DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 200 AM PDT (0900 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression
Fifteen-E was located near latitude 15.8 North, longitude 115.1
West. The depression is moving toward the west near 15 mph (24
km/h).  A west-southwestward motion at a slower speed is expected
later today followed by a turn back toward the west on Wednesday.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher
gusts.  Little change in strength is forecast during the next 48
hours.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
