DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK

At 800 PM PDT (0300 UTC), the center of Post-Tropical Cyclone Jova
was located near latitude 20.5 North, longitude 119.7 West. The
post-tropical cyclone is moving toward the west near 14 mph (22
km/h), and a westward to west-southwestward motion with a slight
decrease in forward speed is expected over the next couple of days.

Maximum sustained winds are near 30 mph (45 km/h) with higher gusts.
Slow weakening is forecast over the next few days.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1006 mb (29.71 inches).
