SUMMARY OF 1000 PM CDT...0300 UTC...INFORMATION ----------------------------------------------- LOCATION...10.5N 93.1W ABOUT 420 MI...675 KM SSE OF SALINA CRUZ MEXICO MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS...35 MPH...55 KM/H PRESENT MOVEMENT...NW OR 305 DEGREES AT 5 MPH...7 KM/H MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE...1007 MB...29.74 INCHES WATCHES AND WARNINGS -------------------- There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect. DISCUSSION AND 48-HOUR OUTLOOK ------------------------------ At 1000 PM CDT (0300 UTC), the center of Tropical Depression Adrian was located near latitude 10.5 North, longitude 93.1 West. The depression is moving toward the northwest near 5 mph (7 km/h) and this general motion is expected to continue tonight and Thursday, followed by a gradual turn toward the west-northwest Thursday night and Friday. Maximum sustained winds have decreased to near 35 mph (55 km/h) with higher gusts. Additional weakening is foreast, and Adrian is expected to become a remnant low pressure system on Thursday. The estimated minimum central pressure is 1007 mb (29.74 inches). HAZARDS AFFECTING LAND ---------------------- None.
