At 900 AM MDT (1500 UTC), the center of Tropical Storm Paine was
located near latitude 17.5 North, longitude 111.4 West.  Paine is
moving toward the northwest near 13 mph (20 km/h), and a turn
toward the north-northwest is expected over the next 48 hours.

Maximum sustained winds are near 40 mph (65 km/h) with higher gusts.
Some strengthening is forecast today and Monday, followed by
weakening on Tuesday.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 70 miles (110 km)
from the center.

The estimated minimum central pressure is 1003 mb (29.62 inches).
